Code of Ethics
for the Alaska Family Child Care Association
Board Members and AFCCA's Chapters

1. Maintain high standards for your own child care business.
2. Speak only for yourself, unless you have been authorized to do so for AFCCA.
3. When authorized to speak for AFCCA, make sure that you correctly represent the views of the AFCCA Board.
4. Refer all questions from the media to the Association’s official spokesperson.
5. Refrain from making commitment for the Association unless authorized by the AFCCA Board.
6. All complaints will be handled through the official AFCCA Board chain of command.
7. Agree to support all decisions (by majority vote) of the AFCCA Board even if you don’t agree.
