AFCCA's FUN in the SUN: Training in the Park is a wonderful opportunity for child care providers to get some hands on science experiences along beside the children in their care. As providers aid the children in the science activities, they will gain valuable knowledge and experience as well as confidence needed to continue science with the children in their care at their facilities througout the year. While the children enjoy their fieldtrip at a local park with fun-filled science activities that will expand upon their own curiosity, knowledge and imagination.
There will be FIVE sessions offered at the David Green Park in Anchorage
Each workshop session will begin at 10:30 am and end at 11:30 am. Providers will receive a one hour training certificate upon completion of the workshop for their hands-on participation in the science activities with the children in their care. Each session will cost $5.00 to cover the cost of supplies of the presenter.
