AFCCA has prepaid for several Infant, Child and Adult CPR/First Aid with AED courses from Respond Systems and is able to offer those to child care professionals with a discount of $10.00! This offer is available to anyone needing their CPR/FA whether you are a member or not. This discount is not available at Respond Systems!
Respond Systems offers...
1. Two-Year Training Certification, not one year CPR and three year First Aid. So you only have to take a course every two years...not every year.
2. There are NO TEST! You only have to demonstrate your learned skills. There is no test to fail and no need to repeat the course. Instructors will work with you to ensure you demonstrate the skills correctly.
3. Your CPR/FA Certification and Card are issued at the time of your training. No need to wait for it to be mailed to you.
4. Your current CPR/FA Certificate can not be expire more than 30 days in order to qualify to complete the Re-Certification course. Otherwise, you will be required to take the full course.
5. You may complete the Re-Cerfications course anytime within 30 day prior to the expiration date or 30 days after the expiration date only.
Training location is at 3901 Raspberry Road. That is on the corner of Jewel Lake and Raspberry, next to Tastee Freeze.
Please ensure that you attend the dates that you sign up for. It is the policy of Respond Systems not to give refunds due to missed course dates. You are paying to reserve your seat. If you miss the class, the seat can not be sold to anyone else. Any changes need to be made within three days of the course scheduled. NO REFUNDS FOR MISSED CLASSES!

CPR/FA must be paid for before your seat is reserved. Send check payable to AFCCA to 2207 E Tudor Road, Suite 34, or stop by to drop off payment and reserve seat over the phone.
Remember: It is your responsibility to send a copy of your CPR/FA Certificate and Card to your licensing specialist.
