Training: Writing Workable Policies
How do you write policies that work for your child care program. This workshop gives you suggestions on how to develop workable policies, how to incorporate them for use in your program as well as how to talk to clients when situations arrises that you discover should be in your policies. This workshop is an open discussion forum.

This workshop work session is a follow-up to Writing Workable Policies. Providers are encouraged to bring a copy of their policies to discuss with group and together let's write workable policies that support your child care program.

What's New in the Mat Su~!
Mat Su Chapter held a meeting on Tuesday, April 7 in Wasilla. Discussion included the Mat Su Chapter's help in collecting donations for the AFCCA's 20th Annual "For the Love of Kids" Child Care Conference that will be held May 1 and 2 in Anchorage at the Hotel Captain Cook. The MSV Chapter is also doing the centerpieces for the conference tables for Saturday, May 2nd. Several MSV Chapter members will also be presenting a workshop at the conference.
AFCCA President, also attended the meeting to discuss with the MSV Chapter what was going on with AFCCA and its preparation for the upcoming conference. Donna also discussed AFCCA's new vision for AFCCA's Leadership Team and invited the MSV Chapter members to feel like they were also apart of that team that makes AFCCA so valuable to its members.
