MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AND FEES

The Alaska Family Child Care Association is made up of family child care providers, making AFCCA a great source of information and support among child care providers as well as years of experience  and vast knowledge that comes with each member.

                            MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

1. Members have the right to vote for ~ Board of Directors, Volunteer of the Year and Any questions or motions placed before members.
2. Members may serve on the Board, and any Committees.
3. Members may attend and participate in AFCCA meetings and recieve certificates for workshop trainings and may be eligible for scholarships.
4. Members can attend the AFCCA Child Care Conference at a discounted rate.
5. Members will recieve a membership packet
6. Members will recieve a bi-monthly newsletter
7. Members may advertise on the AFCCA website for child care openings and items for sale free of charge.
8. Members will recieve discounts and other offers from AFCCA community partners.

                     MEMBERSHIP FEES

Membership is valid from January 1st to December 31st, each calendar year.  Membership will not pro-rated. 
            

    Individual Membership - $35.00
    Business Membership - $50.00
    (admisitrator + 1 staff working at the same facility)
    Additional Member add on - $20.00

*Participants of the Alaska Family Child Care Food Program will recieve a $5.00 discount on their membership. This does not include the additional member add-on to a business membership.

 AFCCA Board has approved a membership increase of $5.00 effective June 1, 2009.  This will be the first increase in membership rates in five years!  Participants on the AFCCFP will continue to receive the $5.00 discount on membership.
