If you work in a licensed child care program you can submit original receipts and proof of completion to receive 75% reimbursement for first aid, CPR, University classes, or Early Childhood Conferences. Must complete the SEED Registry to be eiligible to reveive travel and training reimbursements. Travel grants need to be pre-approved. Priorities are given for providers in rural communities with travel within the South East Region.
AFCCA Scholarship
AFCCA is offering Free two-day conference scholarships to individual willing to devote their time and energy to preparing for the conference.
Rule 1: Must attend all conference committee meetings.
Rule 2: Everyone must make donation contacts, donation requests, follow-ups with contact to through the delivery of donation.
Rule 3: Must track all donations and contact information. Information must be submitted to conference chair.
Rule 4: Must keep in touch with conference chair with all activities pertaining to the conference.
Rule 5: All volunteers must also be available during the conference to assist with duties as assigned.
AFCCA Presenter Scholarship
All presenters of the AFCCA conference will be entitled to a free day at the conference on the day that teach only. See Conference Presenter Information for more details.
AFCCFP Scholarship
As sponsors of the Alaska Family Child Care Food Program will be sponsoring a participate from that program to attend conference for free.
Rule 1: Submit CACFP Program paperwork on the first of the month.
Rule 2: All paperwork must be complete with NO errors.
Rule 3: All paperwork must be submitted, along with enrollment forms, attendance, if needed, etc.
Rule 4: Only AFCCFP program participates may participate in this scholarship selection.
Rule 5: Winner must be a current member of AFCCA to win! Or willing to pay for membership to accept the scholarship as a member.
Winners will be drawn from qualified names. AFCCFP staff will notify winners to complete their registration.
Alaska C.A.R.E.S

Individual Reimbursement Fund
The Individual Reimbursement Fund is available to reimburse the costs associated with early childhood education, child care health or safety, child care administration, and topics directly related to your work with young children.
Individual Travel Grant
The Resource & Referral Individual Grants are funded through the Department of Health & Social Services. They are intended to provide educaiton and training for eligible child care providers to hlep with training related travel. These funds are not meant to cover the entire cost, but only to supplement the expenses of training-related travel within the state of Alaska. See Individual Travel Grant Policy.
Best Beginnings Scholarship
Best Beginnings has provided AFCCA a sponsorship that enables AFCCA to sponsor three, two day conference scholarships to attend the conference for free.
Rule 1: Scholarships are limited to the rural communities of Alaska to encourage providers who otherwise could not attend the conference.
Rule 2: Providers interested may submit their names with complete contact information to AFCCA by April 1st.
Please note: The sponsorship will allow for three provider to attend the two day conference, does not include travel or accommodiations. Winner will be selected from group of applicants on April 2nd and notified immediately.

IRF - Individual Reimbursement Fund
This fund offers a 75% reimbursement for qualifying educational expenses up to $500 a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Providers must submit the IRF Form after the completion of the training to recieve this funding.
IG - Individual Travel Grant
The Travel Grant is designed to assist providers in rural areas to travel to relevant training such as conferences and workshops. The Travel Grant Application must be submitted and approved prior to the actual travel dates.
Attention Mat-Su and other rural Child Care Providers:
CCC will reimburse mileage for individuals traveling to other Alaskan communities for training. The Individual Travel Grant (IG) must be pre-approved. Call CCC at (907) 563-1966 for more information.
Please Note: To be eligible for reimbrusement, applicants must also be a member of the Alaska SEED Registry. Applications are available online.
