Alaska Child Care Provider Awards given on July 15, 2009, in an honor ceremony hosted by PBS's "A Place of Our Own" and "Los Nino en su Casa" with KCET in California and Alaska's own KAKM.    

Awards were presented by representatives of Alaska State Legislative members for the district from the House of Representatives and the State Senate to honor these seven woman for their extraordinary work with Alaskan's children.
